IN THE MARCHE
An accommodation facility, reserved for groups of cycling tourists, to experience cycling in all its many nuances.
With the same identifying philosophy (sharing, belonging, knowledge, practice, experience) as Tiralento manufactures for cycling, we present Borgo Tiralento.
When we started manufacturing vintage clothing, shoes and helmets, our compass was memory, and our goal, recovery.
Recovery of obsolete machinery, recovery of craftsmanship, recovery of the right materials and details that make the difference.
Identity preserved
Animated by the same spirit, respecting this concept, we have restored a dwelling that, built in the immediate post-war period just outside the village walls, still retained the traces of a society in transformation: that of the former sharecroppers who, having finally become petit-bourgeois, could continue to exercise farming habits in autonomy. As evidenced by the olive trees surrounding the building and the typical outbuildings: the shed, the cellar, the henhouse, the pigsty, the rabbit hutch, the threshing floor and the hayloft.
Green areas that have been reclaimed, and outbuildings that have been given new functions. In order not to lose the memory of the place and not to deplete its identity, we have carried out a rigorous conservative intervention, collecting and putting to new use everything that could be salvaged (from beams, doors, windows, to furnishings and hardware), creating a harmonious balance between memory and aesthetic functionality.
Today Borgo Tiralento welcomes you in a structure divided into five flats of various sizes, capable of accommodating up to a total of 25 guests.
For safekeeping of your bike, an independent garage with alarm has been created for each flat in the basement of the same building.
The adjacent outbuilding, once a farm tool shed and wood-fired oven, is now a large and well-equipped workshop with a washing and bike maintenance area, and a visitable space dedicated to the exhibition of cycling tracks and memorabilia, as well as testimonies of the place.
In addition, the courtyard, the farmyard, a communal area, have been given new life. The main place of rural conviviality.
We hope you will be able to enjoy field planted with olive trees, now used as a garden, with a small vegetable garden and aromatic plants for the use of guests, and the large, practical car park.
The accommodation complex is under video surveillance and equipped with an alarm system.
We are looking forward to you enjoying a pleasant stay in the name of soft mobility, but as good sportsmen we do not ghettoise other disciplines. We also welcome non-cyclists.
Passion for two wheels is a virus that is very contagious.
